It appears Bravo has decided to scrap its ten episode plan for Project Greenlight and tomorrow night's episode, number 9, will be the last of the season. Up until this week on its "Episode" page, the Bravo website had ten episodes you could "jump to." Now, it's just 9. So, the finale is Thursday, May 12, at 9 p.m. CDT. Then it will be time for me to find a new obsession.
What's Bravo got going on that they can't run one more episode? It's cable for crying out loud. My VH1 buddy has moved to Bravo, but his new show doesn't start until the fall.

I love the show but can't understand why they didn't have four or five episodes during the production phase. They jumped huge heeps of time. Yeah maybe they couldn't get the same level of drama, but it would have eased the transition from everything is screwed up to everything is working better than expected.
It would have also increased the number of episodes and given the show more of a chance to get an audience.
Personally I'd like to see another few showing the extra scenes they're gonna film, the reactions to test crowds then, and perhaps end with the opening weekend box office and such. They could garner more interest in the movie if they started this second half of the season right around the time Feast was going to open. The second half would act as an ad/reminder for Feast and Feast would act as an ad for the Bravo show. Then 6 months later you sell both on DVD, alone or as a package.
Oh, and a Special Edition with commentary from Guligar, the writers and whomever they can get would be fascinating to fill in the blanks.
