I've been meaning to praise Don Coscarelli's Incident On and Off a Mountain Road that kicked off Showtime's new series Masters of Horror. Since I haven't written though, it's been kind of difficult to convey my feelings.
It was killer. The production values were high. The acting was excellent. The story, created by Joe Lansdale and screenwritten by Coscarelli and Stephen Romano, was intense. I'm excited for the rest of the series and have Dreams in the Witch House on my DVR right now. Once I get up the nerve, I'll watch that.
